ICP9630 The antibodies are developed from rabbit using affinity purified canine IgG as the immunogen. The canine IgG-specific antibodies from the rabbit immune serum are purified using canine IgG ligand affinity chromatography, followed by affinity absorption with human serum albumin, IgG from human, mouse, chicken and swine. These highly specific anti-canine IgG antibodies are useful for detection, identification, quantization, isolation and localization of canine IgG. |

Scientific Description
|
IgG is monomeric immunoglobulin. It is built of two heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites. It is the most abundant immunoglobulin in the blood and tissue. It provides protection against many kinds of bacteria, viruses, fungi as well as optimizes phagocytosis and neutralizes bacterial toxins.
